Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress for Spanish television and film. She has acted in Stockholm, as well as TV shows El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid born baby in 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, works as a painter. The first time she took piano lessons was at the age of four. Ballet was her first love shortly after. The person she was most close to was she was an English native, so she learned to speak English from her. She was enrolled at the Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico after finishing her studies at high school. The third year of her studies she was studying interpretive and textual aspects of the program. In 2010, however she resigned from the school since she was cast as a character in Planes para manana. She was nominated for a Goya award in the category of best emerging actor, and was awarded the Silver Biznaga award for her role.
