Shailene Woodley is an American actor and activist. She gained fame for her portrayal in the role of Alexandra King as a teen girl suffering from addiction - in The Descendants. Following her awe-inspiring role on The Descendants, she came up with other appearances that displayed her ability to play difficult roles with ease. Shailene managed to get an important position in the film industry early in her career which is itself an accomplishment. After beginning her career with commercials and television, her next step was to take on important part in Hollywood film.
