Her rehiring to be SmackDown General Manager by McMahon came as a surprise following the infamous meltdown and unsuccessful effort to unite the WWE Universe. The rehiring came just weeks after she had was fired from Raw. Vickie did not do The Authority's will for several weeks following, however, she got herself back in hot water once again. Vickie Guerrero was a participant in Roman Reigns against The Authority's desires to participate in The Authority's favored WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Qualification Battle Royal after Stephanie McMahon dropped a poisoned Iced Tea (and some more) on Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero with her professional career at stake, was forced the next week to fight Stephanie McMahon in an odd encounter that involved the use of a tub containing a smelly brown substance. Stephanie McMahon promptly fired Vickie as the SmackDown GM following the incident. Stephanie defeated her opponent and was able to throw Vickie into the disgusting muck. Vickie quit on a positive note, when she threw Stephanie and was not aware of the incident, into viscous soup!
