She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on November 26, 1986. The singer is the child of father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey when she was 6. When she arrived in New Jersey, she finished her studies in Red Bank Catholic High School. Then she attended Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. She also began playing the violin at when she was four years old and was referred to as Violin Girl. A result of her musical performances, she became known as Violin Girl. She also worked as a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. As she was turning 19 she appeared on Free 1976 American Idol in the 6th season. The show eliminated her when she was ranked 16th. She sang several songs like 'The Christmas Song in 2009' and "Out for Blood" 2010, among others. She has also appeared in Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba became famous as an American during her time on American Idol's 6th season. When she lost out in the Top 16 of American Idol in the sixth season, Antonella Barba began to act onscreen. As a result, she's played minor roles in film and participated on Fear Factor's season in 2012. As per Daily Mail reports on November 21st, 2019, she was sentenced to almost 4 years in jail in connection with a conspiracy to spread Fentanyl. In July, the artist was accused of having more than 400 grams of Fentanyl with intent to distribute. However, she was arrested in Virginia at the end of October in 2018 when she tried to transport two pounds of fentanyl to an underground storage facility.
