Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to build on her victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round of each fight. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen dominated McGill with her wrestling and eventually defeated her in the third round via TKO. Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She took on Hoy using a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she knocked her down with a KO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last event for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina through a pound and pound victory in the second round. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and earned a Performance of the Night prize. The fighter fought for the first time in a major fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision, and her Fight of the Night award was presented to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in less than 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. After a quick break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya at UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
